SMILES is a non-profit organization, offering therapeutic and recreational horsemanship lessons to children and adults with disabilities. SMILES transcends traditional therapeutic methods by offering challenged individuals of all ages the joy of participating in an equine assisted program which provides social, emotional, physical and personal rewards.

Lakeland School opened the doors to its new, fabulous facility in September, and has quickly become the gold standard for special needs schools. Lakeland School serves the special education needs for the 15 school districts of Walworth County. Over 1,900 students throughout the county are educated through Lakeland, with about 270 students, ages 3 to 21, attending Lakeland on a full time basis.

Inspiration Ministries is the newest addition to the organizations we support. They are a vibrant community of adults with disabilities engaged in living, working, leisure and faith activities designed to provide a "complete living experience." From its inception, more than sixty years ago, IM has focused on meeting the physical, mental, social and spiritual needs of adults with disabilities.

The 350 adults with disabilities served annually by VIP Services represent a wide variety of experiences and conditions. Each individual goes through an assessment process and participates, together with family members and caregivers, in developing plans tailored to help them reach their personal goals. VIP Services' case managers coordinate a broad range of services within the agency and in the community, to ensure that clients have the help needed to maintain their independence in the least restrictive manner possible.
